CLASSICS:
High-Score format qualification. 6 machines have to be selected from a
bank of (at least) 12. One 'multiplayer' game per machine where
the participanct plays as player 1, 2 and 3, so multiballs can be
combined. All 3 scores count. You will get 16 hours to make your 6
games.
Top16 advances to the head-to-head finals. Best-of-five, single
elimination into 8 and 4.
4-player final on one machine at the end.
MODERN:
Players will be assigned into groups of 18. (We used IFPA ranking
-from Tuesday- to equilize the groups). One game against each others,
number of wins count. Best 7 advance from each group.
On the next stage we merge 2 groups' players (4 groups of 14). Players
will keep results from the previous round so only the opponents
(coming from the other group) have to be challenged. Best 6 from each
group advances, best 2 qualifyed into 16.
Between 24: 4 groups of 4 players (all opponents will be new). 3
multiplayer games for 8-5-3-1 scores. Best 2 from each group advance
into the 16.
Same between 16 and 8.
4-player final on 1 machine with 5 balls.
